Sometimes you really want to see the good in someone but they are doing an amazing job hiding it. So you tell yourself: ok this is tough about her personality but hey, who doesn’t have drawbacks? All of us do, right? So let’s be patient and wait for the bright side of her personality. And you wait and you smile and you tell yourself: any time now. Only things are getting uglier. She prefers to show you more hostile, cold and distant behaviour so you’re taken aback: why? You ask her directly what is going on between us, at which she frowns and says: leave me alone, I am ok, what do you want from me? And she does it of course in a very gloomy way, just like she always is. And then suddenly you realize: there is nothing to wait for! There is no bright side. This is her. And then you stop looking for non-existent goodness and kindness in her. What you see is what you get. And then you go away. And u say thank you for what was, without regret or judgement. And you move on.
